4 Stage Reverse Osmosis
The Aqua Flo Platinum RO is a 4 stage Reverse Osmosis system. What does that mean? It means the water is passed through 4 different filters before it hits your glass. Some are for cleaning, the others for taste.
The first two snap on filters are typically pre-filters. They remove dirt and sediment. Depending on your water quality, we can install different pre-filters to address bacteria and contaminants. The RO membrane is the third step and it separates out tiny minute particles, bacteria, contaminants such as fluoride and harmful pharmaceuticals. The last stage can be be tailored to your taste or needs. For instance, snap a pH booster filter on for the ultimate, at-the-tap, alkaline water with added minerals.
Cost Effective and Affordable Replacement Filters
Depending on the filter, replacement times vary on the amount of water put through them, but typically need to be replaced every 6 to 12 months. The RO membrane can last up to 3 years. These filters are cost effective and affordable and super simple to install.
If under sink installation space is an issue, or you are concerned about reverse osmosis reject water, we offer an Ultra Filtration unit. The Ultra Filtration system does not require a drain line and there is no holding tank so can be retrofitted in just about any spot.
